I'm Feeling Well Enough ...

... so I tried my new tobaccy -- McClelland's "Royal Cajun Ebony". Instead of being an "everything but the kitchen sink" tobacco like I usually smoke, it has tobacco processed in such a way as to combine the effects of being a Latakia and a Perique (with the oxidation/aromatic nature of a Cavendish as well). The result is, so far, excellent, although the tobacco was a bit dry for my tastes (so I humidified it a bit)

I just hope it will be as good the next time I smoke it, as I worry that maybe I humidified it too much?

Comments:
Ah, McClellands. Used to smoke their...no, wait, it was Mac Baren's I smoked. Found a very old tin of their Dark Twist in my desk just now. Got to be older than dirt, and twice as dried out.

Ah, memories.

Was going to say this at my blog, but better I say it at yours. I know I comment and run, and barely respond, but I do very much appreciate your commentary and insight on Israel, especially vis a vis the Palestinians. I don't say it often, but you teach me much by your knowledge, patience, and willingness to disagree with me without being disagreeable.

It teaches me. Thank you.

Thank you also for teaching me so much and challenging me to examine my assumptions.

Too many people within the Jewish community become so immersed in their world-view that they often forget that other people just don't see things the same way. Perhaps if they would not dismiss certain critiques so quickly as anti-Semitic they might be able to respond better to them. You can't complain about Israel's Hasbara (PR) problem and then dismiss any engagement that might improve said Hasbara ...
